She currently teaches with Opal Music Studio in Old Town Alexandria, VA and Music on the Hill in Washington, DC. ![]() Woodberry has taught voice and piano lessons for over almost ten years. She also attended the Vancouver International Song Institute in 2014 and Bel Canto in Tuscany in 2019. As an apprentice with Miami Music Festival, she performed in Ariadne auf Naxos studied with Manny Perez, Anthony Manoli, and Eglise Gutiérrez and participated in masterclasses, aria nights, and Michael Rossi's Career Institute. Woodberry has continued her education through summer training programs. Her current projects include performing with the chorus in Verdi's Don Carlo with Maryland Lyric Opera and preparing both the chorus in La boheme with Annapolis Opera and the role of The Maid in a filmed modern opera Lily by Maryland composer Garth Baxter.Īlways striving to improve her artistry, Ms. ![]() Woodberry is an active performer, and some of her recent roles include La sorella cercatrice in Suor Angelica (Peabody Opera Theatre), Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos (Miami Music Festival), Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi (Genesius Guild), and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte (Genesius Guild). Soprano Alicia Woodberry’s recent successes in opera include performing with the Genesius Guild Theatre Foundation as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, for which the River Cities’ Reader praised her for “shining vocally.”
